Airfield Stendal-Borstel

The airfield Stendal-Borstel (ICAO-code EDOV) is located 120km west of Berlin and 5km north of Stendal, a town of 37000 inhabitans. Night-flying capabilites (NVFR) and the central location between Hannover, Berlin and Hamburg make it a suitable destination for business trips in the area. The infrastructure of the airfield fits many requirements of the general aviation. Events like international airshows, training camps of flying schools (e.g. AOPA, Airbus flying club) or competitions like the Dutch nationals in gliding made the airfield a well known name in the German and European aviation scene.
